Review:
The bricks and mortar aspect is very good. The staff in the restaurant are at best inexperienced and rude. We were there for 2 days every experience in the restaurant was problematic. 2 examples For dinner we had to remind the staff that one ( of 2) didn’t get their main course it arrived after the first one was finished we also then asked for cheese to be told the kitchen was closed and we could not order ( the only slot left when we arrived was a later one) the staff never gave us an opportunity to order dessert / cheese or told us the kitchen was closed. This was supposed to be a special dinner for our anniversary. Also we arrived at 10:10 for breakfast to be told very rudely we had 20 mins to eat. At 10:30 a waitress came and tried to remove my husbands plate while he was eating. We said we were almost finished and need a few minutes. She told us to get up earlier!!! I said please don’t speak to us like that. She then pretended she did not have enough English to understand, a lie. I accept we were late but I travel for work and am in many many hotels. Usually breakfast 7-10:30 means the kitchen stops serving and the buffet is cleared at 10:30 not that you are asked to leave the dining room in such a bullish manner. These two incidents ruined our special celebration it was our second time celebrating with a few nights at your hotel. It will be our last.
