Reifnitz is located on the southern side of Lake Wörth, the largest lake in the Austrian state of Carinthia. Approximately 13 kilometers from Klagenfurt, Reifnitz scores particularly with its location by the water and the local lido directly on Lake Wörth. The village belongs to the well-known municipality of Maria Wörth and has approximately 820 inhabitants.

Up to 28 degrees has the water here in summer: Lake Wörthersee attracts its visitors with a Mediterranean climate and southern influences. In Reifnitz Bay, there are various opportunities to dive into the cool, turquoise water.
